Imran threatens to take to the streets again if rigging not probed

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that 2015 was the year of elections and threatened to come out on the street again if the judicial commission was not formed to investigate alleged rigging in the 2013 elections.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he said his party would announce its line of action after the election tribunal had announced its decision about alleged rigging in NA-122.

Mr Khan said the PTI would play the role of a real opposition because people had been fed up of the PPP-PML-N ‘alliance’.
“Whenever traditional political parties feel insecure, they form an alliance against the PTI,” he said.
He praised Raza Rabbani, the opposition’s candidate for the post of Senate chairman, but said his performance would be monitored in the Senate.
He said the PTI would never become part of wheeling-dealing of the PPP and PML-N.
“If anyone has an objection or a doubt about the elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, we are ready to remove them through a judicial commission. All those who have robbed the mandate of people should be tried under Article 6,” he said.
Humayun Khan Mandokhel, a Senator from Balochistan, former MNAs Rao Qaiser, Rana Zahid and Chaudhry Safdar, former MPA Rana Aftab and others announced to join the PTI on the occasion.

All drama and nothing else. Then IK will take a U turn and more people will lose their lives and jobs. The truth is PTI and PML-N are getting close internally. There was an internal alliance between them in senate elections in KPK. PTI the U turn specialist contested the election under the same political setup which they refuse to accept during their previous fake dharna.

With latest White Paper Report by Aitzaz Ahsan on historic massive election rigging in 2013, Imran Khan is the only national hope to first press for probe though Judicial Commission and then have biometric election laws. IK's resolved is undaunting he will IA succeed.

Imran Khan must seize his destiny and keep up his determination to uncover the layers of deceit which the PML-N has engaged in for far too long. The present dismal state of affairs with continued power issues, terrorism, political upheavals, and rampant corruption seems endless.
Pakistanis would much prefer an honest leader like IK to an undeserving plunderer whose government has shown to be seriously lacking in leadership on all levels.

Ik's plan for next 3 years dharnas, dharnas and more dharnas until he becomes the prime minister or the next election whichever comes first. When he is a prime minister then he will try to work on the promises that he has been making for almost two decades. Right now, he is too busy to focus on other issues.

Heard this song and dance before. It's a fools dream if they think 6 seats In senate and no allies in parliament or the senate will cause a miracle and shift of power in favor of Imran Khan. Day one this guy complains and does the exact same thing. On one hand he states how righteous he is, and on the other he has his cronies like cm khattak try to grab at straws in an effort to put together senate seat votes.

IK knows the people who offered money for the senate votes, If he is a true leader and honest leader, he should disclose the names to the media and election commission. Otherwise, we will consider him involved in the rigging and corrupt practice.

we need to support IK. nawaz sharif and zardari did nothing to stop corruption. Its been almost 70 years and we even could not do reforms because of these corrupt politicians. Where is accountability which was promised by sharif brothers?. Where is electricity and all those big claims done by corrupt politicians?.

Pressure Politics is the garland of IK - What else he has done in last 2years - mere talking / shouting / dancing on the stage / marrying with a media glam and hollow threats to fellow politicians and abusing them for being richer then him.
Oh yes - he been busy with collecting donations and imdaad for party funds on the name of Dharna politics and Kharcha Pani from Rich and Wealthy (Lottas of other parties) who are eager to join PTI on sake of saving their skins.

PTI has proved beyond doubt that they mean business with honesty. The current proceeding has once again highlighted the the royal horse trading in motion. I am not a die hard supporter of IK yet I fully believe that PTI is the only party today capable of steering Pakistan out of the political corruption mess & bring a real relief to the nation.

Line of action to be announced after election tribunal's decision? So if it goes in our favor we will accept otherwise storm the parliament? The 90's politics being replayed. i.e. Protest & the umpire raises his finger...government doesn't completed its term
Zardari's corrupt & incompetent government gets to complete 5 years...PPP is rejected in the polls. I'm sure same fate of PML-N if they do not perform on their promises and frankly of PTI in KPK.
Pakistan needs evolution and not a revolution led by the elitest & backed by the umpires. I will vote for you IK in the next general election but do not support the politics of protests & agitation.

Simple sit -in with speeches & songs will not yield desired results. Plan something more drastic but peaceful. The whole peoples of Karachi should come out on the road & protest against the corrupt government peacefully. When ever the next election is held Karachites should vote for PTI & bring IK in power. Others are all tested & useless parties, corruption has penetrated their blood & in most cases its non recoverable.
